What is wrong when a goldfish keep resting on the ground after swimming around? It is like the goldfish swim swim swim then after a while it will lay on the ground as though as it is resting then after a minute or so then swim again. Anything wrong?

Check your water parameters such as ph etc. Also see whether is it eating properly if not have a feeling that it is suffering from internal parasite.

It is still eating properly. Only that it occasionally will rest itself on the ground.

Seems like swim bladder problem causes your fish not able to maintain its bouyancy. Swim bladder problem is not necessarily causes the fish to float to the surface, fishes that sink to the bottom most of the time are also having swim bladder problem.
Try to treat it soon, as the belly of your GF will develop 2ndry infection due to excessive rubbing.

Root cause either is internal bacteria or sometime overfeeding. Try Interpet swim bladder problem cure, it had help me treated two of my ranchu before.
