wow.... serious case...

i think those white stuff are cotton wool like fungus....

PP just put A BIT will do..... say truth... PP very very poisonous... so as little as possible.... if ur PP is crystal form... think better take one small crystal to dilute it and then u drip one drop into the tank...

get a heater too! heat will kill the fungus...

It is most likely a fungus. If not treated, will become fatal.

From my experience, go ahead and make a 75% water change. Add your usual salt and increase the temperature to about 84 F. Repeat the process everyday until the fungus has disappeared from all the fish in the tank.

If the fungus does not disappear after a few days, add some Methylene Blue and use the same procedure as above. This should do the job. Best of Luck!

put it in a hospital tank and add BeFURAN(aqumedi) plus areation.

BeFURAN costs about $5.50 per box(4 sachets of 2g each)... do not overdose. it is use for bacterial infections of aeromonas, vibriosis, columnaris, psendomonas, fungal infectious of saprolegia, parasitic infections of icthyopthirius etc. external bacterial infections like sores, wounds, swellings, surface abrasions, reddish markings, ulcers, fin rot ect. internal infections like loss of appetite, pale and darkening of colours, listless, swollen belly with protuding scales, erratic swimming etc.

Very common disease with goldfish. This is actualy the only sickness that i have come across with goldfish. It is caused by bad water conditions, dirty water or an introduction of a sick fish. It should only take one water change to heal the disease but continue the regular basis water changes to prevent it from occuring again. remember to conditioner after each water change.
