Use clean dechlorinated and dechlorimine water.

Yes, you need an air pump. Most med reduce the DO in the water so an air pump will help the fish breath better.

I am not sure if Yellow powder is effective against gill and SB problem. You gotta check with others who knows.

Yes, open gill could be a birth defect or due to injury too. But you have to be the one to tell us which is which because, it's your fish and you should know if it originally came with the defect or not or even if the fish got injured recently ? If not then you gotta rule it out?

I don't think anyone can tell you whats the specific cause of the SBP and open gills of your fish.

i'm quite sure that there wasn't any gill problems when i first bought the fish...so now i will assume that it is infected..

what does yellow powder do? wat are its uses? anyone knows?
so now i should go ask ard for medicine that can heal gill diesase huh? any recommendation?

confirm SB problem. and i also notice inflamed dots on its tail (joining the body side).

Interpet 13 may help. i ve no success so far healing this type of disease

Is near the swimming pool at blk 3?? where there are a few LFS along the roll.It is facing the road.I am not sure of the name of the LFS

Or you can try the only tampines fishfarm where they are selling and breed arowana.I saw it a few day ago.

any idea i can get it in a more central location in amk?
i asked the lfs in amk central but it said dun have leh..i'm staying at ave 5
