Default I have now into 3 mths of min water change ...

Keeping Discus ....

They all look ok and I maint a good GH , KH and PH , CL is also good.

I test NO2 and NO3 and found that NO3 is high . I guess due to no WC.

How can I nuetralise the NO3 without casuing harm to the Discuss?

I scare to WC as now all growing well .... not sure should I touch the water condition or not...

What to add into the water to prevent both external and internal fish bacteria and diseases??

Discus keeper usually practice large volume of WC frequently for them to thrive. Some even 95% WC daily, this helps in the growth rate.

I did not do much WC since early Nov 2014... coming 3 mths ..

Every day I will take out about 2 to 3 litres of water including the waste below the tank .. after that will add PH /KH / GH salt + vitamin + nitrate/ammonia solution and topup to the water that I took out .

If conditions are good, the more water change done, the faster they grow so don't be afraid to do bigger water change.
