Default Feeder for top covered tank

Hi, i am a newbie here...
I have been searching for a long time for the solution to feed my fishes automatically when i am not at home for a week due to overseas trip or holiday... Still i cannot find the proper equipment and would like to know anyone has come across such equipment or have any suggestion on doing so...

I got 2 tanks, each about 60x40, both are top covered.
I cannot yet post URL so no picture for now.

I saw those holiday pellets before, but does it really works ?
I have 6 red parrots and 2 oscars in tank 1 and 8 KOI fishes in tank 2.... They are about 3-6 inches in size..

I know about automatic feeder... but they are for tanks without TOP COVER... I still want to cover the top... Unless there are underwater automatic feeder... because my water level is only one inch difference before touching the top lighting..
Ohh.. if you tell me i should not top up my water so high and so close to my lighting.. No worries.. i have transparent covers for the lighting and the lighting i used is actually meant to be in the water.....

Agreed with you on your proposal, bro. I believed TS able to open a small gap for the auto-feeder. In this way, his headache will be resolved.

Bro, depending on whether you use single piece top cover or whether it is acrylic/glass. If you can switch to using acrylic top cover, then can consider drilling a whole enough for the automatic feeder to drop the food down through the hole. I have never use automatic feeder so not sure whether can place on top of the cover. Just a suggestion.

Bro, I use the top portion of 1.5L bottle & push the neck into the holes of the glass cover just like a funnel. Place your auto feeder above it. Done!

The covers come by default or built-in as you called it.
The entire tank is black in colour except the glass.
I prefer those tanks that come by default with cover as they are quieter and water will not splash out or bubble out by the air pump...

So, i was hoping to find some sort of underwater feeder or feeder not too big and heavy so that i can stick on the upper corner of the tank and still enable me to close the top cover...
I am not able to post picture yet if not everyone will understand better...
But if you can post picture, maybe can help me recommend something like that you may have used or come across and available...
Don't ask me to custom made... i am not so good in such workmanship...
