you can choose user define, if you know what is the number of US gallons of aquarium it can sustain. for eg. fluval is 400 gUS.. mean it can support up to a 400gallon tank. from the web...
"Performance rated to pump over 3500 liters (900 US gallons) per hour, the Fluval FX5 is driven by raw power. Its powerful, integrated motor, state-of-the-art Smart-Pump™Technology and massive capacity make this the premier choice for unparalleled filtration performance. Fluval FX5’s massive capacity and powerful integrated motor, processes and recirculates 2,300 liters (607 US gallons) of water every hour. This enables precise management of water conditions for aquariums as large as 1,500 liters (400 US gallons)." |
