Thank you Ron And Betta Mania. I bought one big male (about 9 inches and one female (6inches). I hope to buy more when I have a bigger tank. Right now I house them in a 4 ft tank. So far the first two days they live well and no fight.

They are beautiful!

Congrats!!!!!!!! Yes, you really need to get at least a 5-6' tank. I can put 10-15 in my 180g. You definitely need to get another female, preferably 2 more. A 1m/3f ratio is good. A 9" male can cause some damage.

Post some pics when you can. Where did you get the 2 mobas? WC or F1's?

I got them from a local farm. I will post some pictures when they settle down.

The farm owner told me that they are wild caught. Looking at their size I trusted him.

congrats on the new buy (: but just a reminder, size does not mean WC or not.. cause there are alot of captive bred that are big size.. dealers like to use big ones to claim WC so as to push the prices up. enjoy your new fronts!

I don't check in here that often. If you need to contact me directly here's my e-mail address:

I can give you a few pointers regarding what to look for when buying wc mobas.
