Video Update of my 17 inch male wildcaught (F0) umbee
Hi,
Just a short video that I just took of my 17 inch boy. Sorry about the reflection. He is currently in a 4x2x2 tank by himself. I'm planning for him to move to a bigger tank 6 x 2 x 2.5 so that he can continue his growth. Joining him thereafter will be his mate, which I separated from him previously, so that both of them will not be stunted in growth as a result of frequent breeding.

nice male there no video of the female?
perhaps a lightly scaped tank would make it all look nicer although he would most probably re-decorate the tank into his own style |

Thanks all for your nice comments. I believe they can grow up to 24 inches if given the space n well fed.
No scaping at the moment as tank us small at 4 x 2x2. This specie is fussy re clean water too. Will consider for later in the bigger 6 footer. Female is as big but in fgt. But i hope to reunite them before Christmas. Lol |
