Big tank is easier to maintain and the water perimeters doesn't change much, thus your tank is still fine w/o water change. But for smaller tanks, the challenge goes higher with smaller tanks

yes i agree big tank easier to manage totally man...last time my 6ft tank i can dont change water for 6months also still ok leh....higher tolerance for error

Update on 1 of the surviving cherry shrimplets...already got color


My mama blue almost going to deliver...can see like small eyes on the eggs but my photo not good enough to tell

bro ur cam very clear leh.. have alot of shrimplet in my tank.. bu hw i take also cant really see them that clearly.. btw ur shrimplet is hw big in actual size? 2-3mm?

there are a few factors to taking clear photos .... for shrimplets this small its very important that your camera have good "macro" ability icon on the camera as per my attached picture below.



my camera have a "super macro" feature with the ability to take subject as close as 1cm distance.

secondly, you need to make sure your tank glass is clear as dust on the tank glass will affect the autofocus feature on most camera.

lastly, stability is important when taking subject this small...its recommended that you rest your camera on a stable object or tripod when shooting.

i hope this tips can help u out. i am not pro and only using a standard compact camera but i can take fairly decent macro shots

btw this shrimplet is about 3mm now
