That is a Tetraodon Biocellatus, more commonly known as the Figure 8 Puffer. If you look carefully you'll notice that when viewed from above, there is a number 8 behind their eyes. Max size is about 2.5". They might fight so you must watch them closely.

Feed them snails, ghost shrimps and shellfish.

and i realise there're some slimy things on the snails, transparent with white dots, is there any method to prepare snails before feeding them?

Depends on what fishes you're talking about. Remember these Puffers don't get bigger than 3" so any predatory fishes will be a hazard. I've never heard of such things on snails. You might want to quarantine them and make sure there isn't anything wrong before feeding them to your Puffers. There isn't a way to prepare snails, just throw them in and watch the movie!

Default Advice pls

Hi, ihave 2 green spotted which I seperated from the other small cichilds in a 2ft tank. Just wondering if there's any fishes I can put them with ? Will they nibble their fins ? Or get bullied ? Also what's the ideal setup for them ? Food wise , frozen blood worms ok?

Puffers are one of my favorite fish. I have tried to keep them and I have had no luck at all. So I don't have any at the moment but wish I could.
