Yes agree. I have purposely shutdown my Ozone generator to carry out a test. My PH-203 with Milwaukee probe reported 357 (yesterday 391) While Milwaukee with PH-203 probe reported 342 (same as yesterday 344). So my conclusion(IMO), that my probe still need to dip longer ..everything is stable..cheers everyone... |

Just connnect up the ozone generator at noon.
Reading was 321 then. I connect ozone out to an air stone. Just one question, do you connect a control valve at the air pump outlet to control the amount of air into the ozone generator IN or you just connect air pump outlet direct to ozone generator inlet? Please advise Regards |

ANY WAY , Important Finding; Tested the China Made ORP Electrode today with a Test Reagent of 450mV by Red Sea. Reading Result from Red Sea suggest as follows; 430 - 475 = OK 400 - 430 , 475-500 = Clean electrode and test again <400 or >500 = replace probe Probe was submerge in reagent for 15 min and produced a stable reading of 483mV . So conclusion is if Reagent 450mV equivilent to unit reading 483mV So to cal yr actual Tank reading formula is Tank reading = (Unit reading registered / 483 ) X 450 You may wish to use this as a rough guide . Of cse , accuracy of diff probe differs also loh...at least i prove that china product deviation still acceptable. |

Today at noon I connect up the ozone generator
and air pump. Run the ozone at around 1300 ,set dial at 15. Reading then was 321. I set ORP at 350. ORP cut off at around 1410 and reading was 380. Now just take reading again still at 380.(1700) Maybe I should set dial at 10 and see if reading will be closer to 350 Regards |

When the reading drops below 350 .. it will re-starts the ozonier.
My suggestion is that you set the ORP at 10 mg and let it runs for a week before increasing to 15. The unit needs to "run-in" |

Back Track, if your reading shown 483 then (IMO) it should be (483-450) + the meter reading. In my tank scenario : Milwaukee meter with PH-203 probe reads 345 PH-203 meter with Milwaukee probe reads 391 Based on my calculation, this can be 345+(33) =378 in my tank reading which is still within the range of 430 to 470mV (+/- 4%) Having said that, my milwaukee probe may be in the range of 430..so, this value is just for your reference only as the range is 450 +/- 4% (In this case). Cheers! |
