comparing tau-huay container to a bigger container with a bigger surface area. would it affect the tubi's survival rate?

best is on a big flat surface
so a bigger container will have a bigger bottom surface

i would like to add.
those using ktp extracts. dont throw away your ktp leaves.

crush/grind em and leave it inside the extract. the tubis will cling and feed on it since its a decaying leaf to begin with.

i bot $2 worth of tubi, enough to fill a midsize aluminium tray (those used for bbq). no aereation. HUGE culture still surviving and happily feeding on crushed ktp leaves after 1 week. WC once a day. kept the water level low as per instructed by brose here. thanks.

i have successfully kept some tubi with water covering just slightly over them for 3+ weeks.
the key is to use aged water. and to provide some substance eg fish food. change water is like thrice a day for me. once in the morning, once in the evening and once before going to sleep.

i tried the shallow water method and i WC once a day, used aged water and ktp extract, and i also added ice,i add about 3 big pieces of ice per day, quite sufficient in keeping the worms alive
