Come back to the hobby
Hi Bro, it been a few years since I keep shrimp and I have decide to come back to CRS.
but will need some help from the bro there as I has since lost touch with the newest equipment. I will be getting a 3 feet tank set up for my CRS tank. and will be getting a 1/4HP Chiller for the tank (will it be over kill? & any brand recommendation?) for the filter, I am looking at getting Eheim 2224/2236/2217. (are these too small for the chiller?) Base wise, I will be looking at mixing ADA soil with some of those small black plastic gravel. any thing else that I am missing? |

my set up will be 3 x 1.5 x 1.5 which will be around 170L. looking now at 1/6 HC-250A but worrying about the flow rate of the canister. (will need a high flow for the chiller but if the flow is too high the shrimp will get disturb) need advice on how to balance the above both.. |

U can use long rainbar then let the water shoot backwards 45 degree up This will break the current of water. Prevent tank circulation like washing machine If u use high flowers canister.
