No mate not affected, but imports / exports of live animals to and from Japan is badly affected at the moment.

Right , thats good , also just wondering... i see many large bichirs on some Japanese sites but very large bichirs I very rarely see , could it be that cb specimens dont acheive the size they get in the wild?

Not on purpose since the rays are much bigger than most of my endis... they do unintentionally nib on the edges when they try to 'ambush' the stuchi bits and pieces....
