From my experience, no problems. However, feeding on pellets somewhat compromises growth. It would not have the mass of those fed with MP.

Btw a newbie question, when u mean MP, market prawns, how do you feed them? the dead kind that we buy and eat? and i hardly see LFS selling ornate 5" that kind already leh. |

Yes those dead ones but fresh, we buy from market, deshell cut into small pieces n feed them
