One or two week for shrimp no food should be a problem...put ketapang leaves more into the tank...or longer the light on the tank..this should algae grow so that the shrimp can munch on...

Try to find some ricca shrimp known to munch on them if they are hungry..

The auto feeder i use for my discus tank is 'modified using a small plastic strip over the outlet area. This helps to give me a inbetween amount.
I did this for my feeder too.It works

I think you didnt give the feeder proper instruction, just in case using the feeder, under feed is alway better then over feed.
