The surface area is good for the price. similar to bio home. wondering what is the size of each ball, durability and effectiveness?

Hi bro. Im currently using them with my biohome. Im a biohome fan. But i bought this to try try.

Size slightly smaller then pingpong ball. Very dense and heavy.

As for whether they are good. Hard to say or measure. So far no problem in my pond

My biohome is about 1 month old. As for matrix. They are infact pumice stones. Yep they works too. I will stick to normal grey type biohome. Been always working for me.

Ic. The surface area for matrix is pretty good for the price. The grey big home is ok. The red is with minerals for faster establishment of the bb. I guess is good for a start. The minerals will eventually run out.
