Will try to squeeze out some for you, bro. But depending also on whether anyone trade with me for some of the plants I need as well, for the re-scape. But have to warn you first before-hand. My tank has snail infestation, so chances are pretty good that you might get some into your tank.

thanks bro for the offer. my tank is full of snails too.
I have some frog bits if you want. I just want to experiment whether is it possible to grow HG in a low tech tank. |

Wow I really love the HG. Absolutely beautiful. For some reason I can never find such HG or JHG. I've been to all the shops at Serangoon North, Seaview, C328, etc. Is there a specific name? The ones I see are usually not so fine.. And are sold in pots or at Seaview in a plastic thingy in a clump. Would it be the same 'species'?

I use quite a big range of ferts leh. Using Seachem Flourish Comprehensive, Trace, Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorous, Iron and Excel. I dose agar-agar, about 1-2 threads of the cap after every water change, which is usually around 7-10 days. Lighting is about 8-10hrs, T5HO 2 tubes. I plant alot at the start, small clusters, around 5-7 stalks. Added some root tab that a bro gave FOC, not sure if it works, but just try lor. Takes awhile for them to spread to this extent. For me, it's about 3 months.

Now abit cui. Been concentrating on my monster comm and this tank maintenance has been neglected. Been planning the layout for my 4ft as well. Too many things to do, so little time! I think once I get the 4ft, I will prob put the flora up for adoption, although, tbh, the JHG is no longer in the best of conditions. I love the crypts though. Really blossoming! thanks for the compliment, it's still a very very far cry from Isaac's work!
