How on earth did HM missed an open goal. The irony is he ended himself in the goal but the ball went out.
A first half to forget

Beautiful assist from BF for Ahmad Dialio to do a great back flick with his head for 1-0 lead after coming on for AM in the 2nd half within 5 mins

Ole is now opting to "park the bus" with 3 more changes. bringing in Luke Shaw for DJ; Brandon Williams for WB and Fred for BF
This is to avoid the away goal from Inter Milan who are swarming all over us

The end is near for AM?

Smart header by Amad. Leading 1-0

But we are also under pressure from AC now

Extra time and we leaked in a poor marking from corner but Hendersen should take the blame too. We parked the bus and we failed!!!
Final score 1-1

AM received no service, not that he played a poor game.
We were set up to play counter attack, but it did not worked against a very good team.

When I looked at the game, it is as if we are the visiting team. Again SM gave away plenty of stray passes during the game. Our midfield did not linked the defence to attack. We need to get at least 2 more better passers who will take care of the ball when given and also play more one-twos.

Amad is the only bright spark with his clever goal.

Going to San Siro next week, I do not doubt Milan will go through if we continue to play this stupid tactic of trying to counter attack against an italian team.

Simple reason, he is too slow to react. I always look at his running style. He is basically like a robot. Run also like in slow motion.

DJ also missed an open goal.

We played like an away team. But looking at the bench who has Ole had to rely on for the subs? Our bench is simply too shallow to give any managers any option to change games.
Within even the top 10 teams in the league, I think we have one of the weakest midfield (when we are without PP) combo. They are defending so deep to give our forwards any support so we often see AM, MR, DJ, EC BR deprived of any support and therefore are rated poor by pundits.
Ole has to make up his mind...is DVDB one of his players or not??? Even when fully fit, DVDB is not given any time on the pitch other than warming the bench, or if he was allowed to play has normally 10mins to impact the game

We are surely down to our bare bones for the match against West Ham (they are 6 points behind and with a game in hand). Pogba, Cavani, Martial, Rashford, Van Der Beek, Mata still out injured and not forgetting our "forever injured" Jones!! And look at our bench!!!! Who do we are have to do the job for these injured players???
The strange thing is that DVDB's injury was never told to the fan before. Why has Ole kept the fans in the dark until this injury crisis surfaced?
Probably Ole would take risk and play some of these half fit injured players, putting them to further prolonged injury when we have 9 more games before the league ends. Ole is certainly facing a dilemma now which could define his status with the club come May 2021. Could it be self-inflicted by Ole cos week in week out, he kept to his "favoured" players, choosing to ignore his bench to give them game time in preparation for such dilemma.

This is the time to put in our youth and see what they can do. If they turned out well like the class of 92, then it will give the whole team a boost as well as rest the key players who are all jaded from excessive football without substitution by OGS.

If we lose the game, it is not the end of the world, as it will also allow the key players rest for the Milan game, which I think is more important than this WH game as it provides us with a chance for a cup in this forgettable season.

What happen to DVDB? no news of his injuries or has OGS already signed his death warrant for this club?
