Eheim Liberty or Aquaball?
I've been thinking of converting my bare 1.5 ft 5-plan tank to a planted tank and currently i have no filter except a Xinyu sponge filter with 2 miserable 1 week old betta fries in it. So i want to ask which is more suitable for a mid-tech planted tank?

If you intend to inject CO2 , then you have to walk away from Liberty, the CO2 Loss will be too much, I would probably go with Aquaball, but I think, an Eden Internal will do as well, and cost less too |

for the price, of course sleek lah. I dont think there is a website for eden but you can find the filter in C328, not very outstanding packaging so you need to really open your eyes

but i intend to put some shrimps in the tank so is liberty a better choice? I've seen ppl using liberty for their planted tank and they said it's fine as long as the water lvl is near the output to minimise water movement
