do they get internal parasite easily?
how to prevent it?
i only feed my fahaka shrimp, crayfish and snail.
no feeder fish, is that ok?

yah that's good diet, feeder fishes may contain parasites.

if you want, must remember to quarantine the feeders for a few days

i found small white worm in the take of my crayfish where i usually brought a few and leave them there to quarantine them. Are there harmful? how to get rid of them?

unless u want ur tank to be very very messy. better to stick to ghost shrimps

Hi, i noticed that my puffer started breathing heavily 2 days ago, it then started to be unable to swim properly. i changed 50% water and added salt and of course anti chlorine. It has regained its swimming posture but its still breathing heavily and the tail looks bad. this is the pic

can someone enlighten me what i shld do? i have taken him out as i suspect it could be the tank water's problem. going to transfer him into another tank with water from a running tank

Can see clearly from the pic. What species is your puffer?

Any other co occupant? How are they doing? I have a bad experience of transferring the puffer out, the transfer made it more stress and it died within a day. In my opinion no rush to transfer it without knowing the real cause of it's illness.

It's only tankmate was a blue loach. It started acting weirdly too. The white part looks like it's rotten. I added some melafix for that

Perhaps you would like to do more gradual water change and wash partbof your filter media.

The wound maybe bacterial rot? Melafix should be good enough.
