ticks in my tank!

wat do i do when i saw tiny little ticks in my planted tank? i can see them 'jerking' around when the filter is off and the water is still. i tried adding boiled water but some still lived.

i was changing my scape when i saw the ticks so i removed all the plants and fishes, and drain the 50% of the water before adding boiled water, hopefully to kill them.

Are they jumping on the surface of the water all the time?

yes they were. look like baby brine shrimp, but doesnt swim like them. white in color

sudden change of temp MIGHT crack the glass... becareful

add a heater, add a little salt?

just add some fish to eat them

ya, they look like little white sticks. but thanks for all comments here, i don't see anymore ticks now
