Default SOS Fish Rescued - Super Red

Dear all;

Earlier this week was browsing the various forums and saw this poor super red that was badly whacked in a fellow hobbyist tank.
As the price was really low, I decided to do a Fish SOS and bring him home.

From my humble fish knowledge and experience; i deduced this should be a Red no less but since the cert is lost - i just leave it tat way
He suffered some scales lost on belly and back, while his belly is badly scratched

Hope he will grow up to be a fine fish and dun give up fighting.

This lil Red is now housed in a 1.5ft x 1ft tank.... really crampy for him but he is a happy lil fellow.
Already happily greeting me with the "left right left right swing" in front of tank when i go into my balcony.

Currently doing internal Parasite/ external parasite tummy clearing and some Epsom salt for his well being and future development.

Good day and thanks for viewing.
Comments are welcome

Would suggest either u scan the fish to certify the fish is tagged and cert or get ur seller to request for a reprint of the cert.

Btw, did the seller mention to you which farm this fish is tagged under ?

Surely he can remember as it is a small fish unless he is a LFS operator or has a large number of small fishes under his belt.

hi Homester;

this fish was took over from a fellow hobbyist.
Thread can be found in AClub.

Nonetheless, verbal assurance was given though i didnt managed to bring it to scan in LFS as i went over quite late about 9.30pm

Said to be a Mitra but well - nothing is confirmed till scanned and verified with source.

However, he also took over the fish from some bro but cert was lost by him.

Hope this lil fellow grow up well

BTW, any fellow bro in Sembawang has a scanner to loan?
will gladly Tabao supper n drink to him~!!

Bro,

Like that even easier.

Which Mitra agent he got it from ?

All the agents are easy to speak to.

Such a young fish, i est he bought it just for a couple of months only.

Anyway, red at such a cheap price is a steal already.

Homester bro,

Agreed on ur statement such price still wan complaint??!!

Tats why I also v chin cai never ask for view never ask for low ball price
Just an auspicious $188 (asking price $200) with self collection.

Even though both barbels broke n now growin back, scales at belly almost 1 big patch gone, cert missing is ok.
I think this lil fellow is a fighter.

Who knows, in appreciation to my aid he decide to "double red reward" me when older?
Lol... I leave tat to fate la.

I also agree such young fish should just be a few month purchased hence once I get the tag number it will be easier for me to get cert reprint? Will gladly pay for the tracing n print - rather than make seller bo eng go find out which agent which farm

Cheers to all
