Default OHF is overflowing

Hi all, need your inputs urgently. I have a 4 compartment custom OHF. Water is overflowing from the 1st compartment (where the water comes in). The wool is new. It also overflows when there's no wool. What other areas can I check? I've also used the tap to flush the compartments but it's still the same.

The rate of overflow is not that great but will need to top up abit probably once every 2 days.

Nope. Can't be. It's been running fine for about 2 years.

The 1st compartment seems to fill up faster than the rest. Suspect could be due to sediment build up from the ceramic rings over time.

Anyone else encountered anything like this before? Want to know what's the best way to clean the clog (if any). Removing all the media would take near forever because I have easily 20-30kg of media.

Erm.. thanks but I'm not using a sump. It's an OHF.

I think abit more background might help. This was not a day one issue. The tank has been running for about 2 years. No issue.

Yeah.. I would think that was the case if it was a day one issue. But it's not. Been running fine up till recently. So trying to identify what causes it.
