Stunt. Is it cross back or RTG? Where did you see this as I am searching around for small SB RTG.

Imho. Most likely stunted.
The thickness and coloration of the scales is an indication. Young fish scales are thin and almost transparent, colour wont be so intense. The eyes is another indication. |

Thanks for ur inputs. I've seen the fish this morning, and with my untrained eyes, I'm quite sure is a stunted fish |

1. Ur TLC 2. big space 3. Sufficient food 4. Regular water change |

This fish probably had been badly attacked in a comm tank. Even if it is being kept single in a tank with proper care & grows further, it's aesthetics is an issue
