Is it because of pesticides/ or the bacteria they carry?

i gt a pair of them about 2 weeks ago. they escape a few times before i gt the plastic egg tray to cover the tank.

i am using crushed coconut husk for their medium. Arcadia reptile lighting. for nite viewing i gt a blue LED lamp.

i feel that a 2 feet tank is too small for them. need to try to get my hands on a bigger setup for these 2.

When you first purchase them, they were green? But overtime they sort of change their colour to suit to their environment?

they were green. usually in the morning they would be normal green then at nite they would be brown.

crushed coconut husk can be bought at plant nursery. pretty useful for growing seeds.

Escaped? Tank cover must be secured.

Can leave the bigger container for water in there and keep the tank dry. They don't need much water.
