Is it just air pump driven sponge filter?
U can see in picture, 1 sponge filter is air pump driven and another 1 I have modify to connect to a small submerged pump to create water circulation.

where did you buy that liquid bacteria from? can it also be used for existing setup tank that is currently running?

do you put any minerals or bacteria at the base of your tank before you put the soil? Do you feel it is necessary to put those?
I bought this liquid bacteria from seaview.

I do not put at minerals or bacteria below the soil for all my setup.
Necessary or not is really up to individual. For me is not necessary.

As before I add shrimp I will adjust the tds using liquid minerals.

Bro Bai, very neat and simple shrimp setup. Think thats the key to successful shrimp keeping. Not complicated.

Look for forward to more updates

Thank you Bro Bai an Soon Hong for sharing more about the liquid bacteria usage.

Am keen to try it out myself, haha will see if the west side LFS sells them.

Do you guys add bacteria diligently whenever you guys do water change?

I saw C328 carrying it.
But in small bottle though, for big bottle maybe have to ask auntie or uncle.

It's on the rack outside, in a box. But think seaview sells cheaper.
