I just on tap and drip fill the pond. Water runs through a massive catalytic carbon filter so there is no need to dose AC.
The actual flow is dependent on mains pressure, so it varies a bit. It's basically a little dribble going into the waterfall, about 3/4 the thickness of a regular pencil. My nitrate levels test pretty high unfortunately, so I am deliberating increasing this flow a bit more. Unfortunately my flow meter isn't sensitive enough to measure flow rate this low accurately. Waiting for a good deal before getting a unit so I know exactly how much water I am wasting a week. |

I have 4 yuan bao goldfish , 5 ryukin , 6 ranchus in my 5 feet tank. I water change 80% every 4 days. around 5 years doing so no problem at all. i dont test my waters. For me i think consistency is more important
