To me, Martial should go and find a club where he can grow. I don't think his attitude is good, he appears to be moody at times and almost gives up when things are not going well. We need fighters in the team. A player has off days, that's when you need a fighting spirit to try your best.

What about AS? He too cannot be that bad a player?
What about JL? At one stage, it looks like his name is a "constant" for the starting eleven. Look at him now?
Thus I honestly believe as a manager, JM has under-performed his role to motivate these players
I think JM cannot succeed as a United manager as he is too cautious, and always play not to lose instead of playing to win.

In Fergie's time, we have very wonderful wingers and we always play to win, never care about how many goals we concede, as long as we get one more than the opponent! This is the United way, entertaining and always keeping the fans on the edge.

Now when I see the line up, I know how the match will go.....1-0, 0-1 or draw

I won't understand what policy this will be if we intends to buy old players over 30s and letting go of those in their earlier 20s who are starting to show promises This trend might goes to show JM can only plot a team's tactics and decide on starting 11 on match days but don't coach, nurture and improves a team along the season. I believe with the high pressure to succeed, if United were to start next season with a few undesirable results, calls for JM's head will be unbearable.

Diff manager will have diff way of approach to the game.
As usual he is a cautious manager and play like what he did even during his days as blue.
Not surprising even now our team win by a small margin.
His style of play is to score a win will do but this is not the fans' favourite.
Likely those not in his plan will face the axe even though got good potential.

Many fans are still suffering from the SAF hangover after he left in 2013. I have gotten over this. There will probably never be another SAF for United and in world football.

He was appointed United’s manager in 1986 and he got rid of the heavy drinking culture at the club including some top “drinking” players. The FA Cup win in 1990 probably saved his career as there were rumours he was going to be sacked for lack of success. It took SAF until 1993 (7 years) for his first league championship win (1st EPL year).

Before SAF’s first EPL win in 1993, United had 26 barren years without a league championship win though there were some cup wins.

Managers appointed after SAF: Moyes, real disaster by the board and SAF. He was never ever up to United’s standard. LVG did stabilised the club after Moyes but played his philosophy of possession football. Now it’s JM with his demanding attitude of all his players and to win with his brand of football. Win first, entertainment second.

There is no patience now in football and not much time to develop young players and let them grow. The manager will probably get sacked first. Abramovich came into Chelsea and started using his cash to win the EPL. Now City is doing it. Pep is not that great. Give Pep limited money and see if he can win anything. Fans of some EPL teams ask for entertaining football and their clubs have been relegated or almost relegated from the EPL.

Personally, I do not like a 5-4 win for United as it gives me a heart attack. I would like to score many goals but concede zero. I also don’t want to go through the barren years in the 70s and 80s where some United managers played attacking football but didn’t win the championship. Of course, it’s best to win the EPL and cups, played attractive football, score plenty of goals and concede nothing. I can’t find a manager now that can achieve this. No choice for me as I can’t have my cake and eat it. I would go for a not so entertaining win rather than have attacking football and win nothing.

Every person has his ups and downs. Its up to the person how he handles it. Personally, Mourinho has not been doing it well, leaving a bad taste with his negativity. Although it is not as bad as Moyes, who showed that he practically cracked under pressure

Players also plays a part...depending on circumstances, they shud take initiatives n grab the chances presented to them. If they dun or can't see the opening, the managers can't do much abt it.

Mo Salah injured and replaced during the first half of the final.
He fell awkwardly, landing on his shoulder which is no fault of Ramos as both trying to pull each other down and guess who wins

Very cautious play from both sides so far. Though RM is having more possession, it is Liverpool having more shots on goals. Liverpool seems to be more aggressive in their play so far committing more fouls

First half ends 0-0
Liverpool's attack fizzles off after Salah taken off and probably needs some reorganisation for the 2nd half
