Arowana attack in fgt
Good day everyone,
I kept a tank of aro in fgt lately. Abt 10 pieces 10 inches in 4x3x1.5.But one pieces of my aro was badly attack on the body till I can see the bone。I have bring it up n quarantine, but was only adding salt to it .. 1)It seems like the wound is deep. Was wondering what could be done to reduce such incident from happening? 2) I understand yellow powder do help, but got once I mix it with salt n I can see the aro breathing heavily n the slime is coming off?? Did I do the wrong things? Hope some experts out there could share with me. |

arowanas are aggressive by nature. if u put more than 1 in the same tank, u shld be expecting fights. |

Go to OTF to get the open wound medicine that has aloe vera. Hope this help beside putting salt.

Thanks for all the feedback. I understand that it's a bit too crampy, but was in the midst of getting another one. Hopefully can reduce the bioload space constraint .
Otf ? What is the brand of the medication ?? I have add in wave maker for now, but you know, hope that's it's better.. Will try to take some pics n upload if possible , for the injured aro. Thanks for the insights .. |

thats a lot of aros in a tank. 10inches not small. maybe feed more often or feeders or tank mates which you can bear to see attacked. but best reduce ratio

bro 10 inches in 4x3x1.5 tank is too small for your aros. i think that's the reason why your aros are fighting. no space to swim. put them atleast with a bigger one atleast 250g.
