There been some discussion where they say XB must cross or dun need cross as long as the gold look like real gold bar consider XB liao. Foget conclusion lol..

Alot of ppl treat HB as XB. lvl 6 shine. Gold tone i not so sure. Pearlies also didnt take note.. hai i go do some reading up

so, the issue take place, what happened? who u find?

buyer: boss, your fish looks kind of funny? look like hybrid?
seller: whole batch look ok ler... maybe your water no good. buy this , buy that, ph not right... wait couple more years....

and it's happening now.

For me, cross or dun cross not so important. What I look for is that pearl must be full.

cross or not cross, def of xb like u said,,, it will never end. i very much agree with that.

but in real life, not simple as that...
few years later, hobbyist will start to realized hybrid XB will have high tendency to develop DEAD COLOR. . fully crossed, fully pearly, but MAT FINISH. ps: juv fish can be shinning, very good intensity and level with full pearly. but ... will it stay or not, this is another issue.

that's y some farm still reserve couple pond of classic xb just in case.....
anyway, statement above is from my observation with current aro sold in the market. unless one day some genius able to manipulate aro genes and create a super breed.

however, i think this will not manifest so soon. hopefully we all invest our dear fishy in the right track

I have a particular farm in mind which i think still produce superb golds from the looks. but thats just me a newbie opinion.. and ppl say see fish dun see cert. But i would feel safer if i gotten my xb from this farm.

We abit OT hor? haha...

Anyways prices down good for us hobbyist!
