Hey bros, I've always wondered, do WC bichirs have to be quarantined? Any problems such as anchor worms ever faced?

Dun worry, I heard an importer is talking to a supplier overseas about import many WC bichirs soon with congicus on the list as he see them moving in the quiet market. Just wait for it. If you cannot wait, go place a order with Stone Aquarium

Yes, they have to be quarantined. They bring in many unknown diseases that is troublesome to cure. I lost a number of my bichirs to the diseases as I never quarantine them after getting them from my friend.

Agreed. But how about those from LFS? Were they quarantined prior to being sold? If it were me, I would be too excited with having them in my tank to let them go through quarantine!

Btw, how is the quarantine carried out? What medications are used?
