Default Arcadia T5 Plant Pro

Hi guys

Not too sure if there are many Aquascapers over here using T5 lighting.
If so, has anyone tried using the Arcadia T5 Plant Pro?

If so, can anyone give me feedback regarding the T5 tube

Below are the informations regarding the Arcadia T5 Plant Pro:-

NB. T5 lamps must be powered by electronically ballasted units such as the appropriate models of Arcadia Electronic Controller, I-Bar or Overtank Luminaire.
So guys, give me your comments and thought of this Arcadia T5 Plant Pro

Worth investing? If there are a few Aquascapers who are interested in this Arcadia T5 Plant Pro, might start a bulk order if the interest in great

Will keep you in mind if the bulb order is being carried out.
Anyway, how many tubes are you interested and what length?

Those who are willing to test this Arcadia T5 Plant Pro, please join me in the bulk order once confirmed

Price wise, not as cheap as compared to normal HO T5 tube cause it's Branded tube
I will try to get prices cheaper than LFS pricing.

Hi newman & liuhao

I had just called up the distributor for Arcadia and I was told that the T5 Plant Pro tube will be officially launched in Singapore during the 2005 Aquarama. So now, we will have to wait for the tubes only after Aquarama finishes and the shipment of the tube to come in

Prices of the tubes are also unavailable until the Official Launch.

I think for your 5ft tank, 4 x 80W will cost you around $550 or so.
For a 4ft set, 4 x 54W cost about $399.
Not too sure of the exact pricing but I think it should be on sale during Aquarama

Bro aCe bOmleRz what is your preference T5 or a S$ 350 solution with 2 pieces of MH light include installation. A friend of mine could purchase 2 MH light from a lighting shop and include installation is it not the same as those expensive MH that we are buying. This unit casing from China and electronic ballast from Germany.
