dont like this say la. if i dont put that much how my fishes survive in my 422?

in fact i used back exactly the same medias i used for the 422 for my fishes in this new setup.

u can salt bath ur new tank to treat the silicon. i was using that method for all my brand new tanks previously. the salt just add as much as possible. after that just drain off all the water before u fill up the tank. i think i used ard 20kg for my 422 back then.

for brand new tank u still can use back old medias just like what i did. my 422 is only ard 350 litres of water. this new setup is more than 800 litres. only ard 300 litres was transferred over. i need to top up more than 500 litres with direct tap water.

if the pH is roughly the same ur fishes will b fine. just need to take note of the chlorine/chloramine issue.

there is no such thing as cycle-less method.
