Can i wash my medias ?
Can i wash my medias with tap water or ..? Is there anyother way ?
Restarting tank soon . TIA bros & sis |

I would think, best case would be to wash with your old tank water, unless you really don't mind going through another full cycling process all over again.

+1 but i would advice, lets say theres 3 trays for canister, or 3 columns for sump. Was 1 of 3 for the first water change, and then the 2nd of 3 for the second water change... so on and so fouth. so the other 2 (trays/columns) still have the BB to cycle again.

add bacteria like nutrafin cycle or other PSB bacteria after you have washed your media

As long as you wash with plain water will do.

yup, this is what you shoul do, wash em in sequences. dont wash all at one go.

Do you have another tank, and you intended to change water, use those water to wash your medias, otherwise, you don't have much choice, but to use the tap water.
