My nooby planted tank.
Hi all,here is my new planted tank,got some problems need you guys help also.
This was the picture of the tank few days ago,a bit cloudy. Tank:30cmx30cmx30cm Light:9W PL Soil:2nd hand ADA soil 2 Flora:US Fissiden,Hair Grass,Star Moss Fauna:Sakura shrimps,Horned nerite snails No Bottled CO2 and Ferts However,this is now what my tank look like now. Anyone got any solution on how to clear the cloudy water thanks. Been doing a 20%water change daily for the past 1 week but still no help.3 weeks ago,it was brownish colour,now it had turn into whitish cloudy. bro how long u cycle? What filter u using? Filter media?

Bro think 9 watts a bit difficult to grow hairgrass.
As to your problem it looks like a bacteria bloom. You can either ride it out, add filter medium from an established tank or add bio additives. The brown colour is normal with ADA, especially when new. |
