Laguna make excellent pumps, i have had two running 24/7 for 3 years in outdoor tubs, and never a problem. You can find some info on the spec here.

I have only 2 Laguna pumps and around 12 Eheim, i find no difference in the noise level. IMO Laguna is on par with Eheim, if they provide a 3 year warranty period this reflects on the quality.

Performance on par. Eheim better design. Smaller build n easier to place inside sum tank especially space constrain
Ps: if $ no problem , consider Neptune 6000 if looking at > 5000l/h.

Comparing Laguna 7500 with 1264 which both consume the same power - 100W, Laguna 7500 can pump more water.

Laguna Powerjet Max-flo 7500

Pump curve

Using a 1264 as comparison.

After opening the cage.

The actual inself

Some technical specs comparison with 1264
Both 1264 and Laguna 7500 has the same power consumption but Laguna is able to pump more water.

Power consumption
1264 - 100W
Laguna - 100W

Flowrate
1264 - 75litre per min max= 4500 litre per hour max.
Laguna - 7500 litre hour max.

Max Head
1264 - 3.5m
Laguna - 3.7m (slightly higher)

Both Laguna and 1264 operates quietly

Laguna pumps are awesome, i'm currently using one in my 5ft sump.
Hasnt missed a beat but the only draw back is that it's pretty bulky so you will need a pretty large return section in the sump.
