Default Hemianthus callitrichoides 高山草原

Update on my Hemianthus callitrichoides tank. Almost covered the entire area. About 2 months now.
Tank: 2ft x 1ft x 1.3ft(estimate)
Lighting: 24W x 3 tubes T5HO (8 hours daily)
Substrate: ADA amazonia only
Temperature: 26 ~ 27 degree C (with an AC fan ON 24/7)
CO2: Pressurize CO2 with an external reactor (2bps)
Filter: Atman CF900 canister filter with a surface skimmer
Fauna: 30 pieces of Mosquito Rasbora

Wow this is beautiful!!!

I'm intending to get Hemianthus callitrichoides as my foreground plants too. Any advices on how do I start with it?

i also got hc...but some bro here say its very demanding wor...kind of regret until seeing this...lol how do u get it rooted on gravel?and how long it took?

U can try to float them in ur tank for a weeks before plant them into soil.
HC are high light demand.

You can try Colorful or NA at upper thomsan. But i bought mine from C328 with emersed form.

As mentioned HC high demand on lighting, it will start to spread if start get use to the water condition.

I do not have any base fert. I dose KN03, PO4 and trace every week.
** And i do not change water for more than 1 month!**
