Saw some polypterus teugelsi at seaview yesterday. Small size, about 4-5 inches, less than 5 red notes. Housed together with some endi. I got one piece. Have been looking for them for so long. Very rare in market.

Actually teugelsis are becoming very common nowadays due to their captive breeding. Saw a tank of them together with cb ansorgiis near the counter at C328. The rare ones are those longer in size, wild caught ones brought in by shops like Aquahobby

Wildcaught Teugelsi are longer in size? Erm how do I know if it's a wildcaught specimen by looking at its size or rather its appearance? Or is there any other way to differentiate it?

What I meant was that the specimens that are harder to come by are those long wildcaught teugelsis. They take very long to reach that size.

To be honest, I'm not really the person to ask about upper jaw bichirs

Default Kamihata PBB : 3 different colours

One of my KPBB turned paler, looks golden to me but my brother says it is just lousy poor markings.
I think i have one golden yellow, one beige & one green : 3 shades of KPBB.
