Just let me know when your tank is ready, yah ?
Will be glad to be of any help.

Btw, the tanks are filtered by canisters & the sponge filters are an additional, more to oxygenate the water.
Haha the biggest golden head altos still dark dark.
What is your tank's width? 24" or 18"?
I love the shape of Altos, especially those big size calvus and perfect full face golden head like yours. Any spare?

Need some time for your male to settle down. Patience !

My tankwidth is 2 ft. How I wish for a 2.5 or even better a 3 ft ( keep on dreaming )

Your best bet for big comps or calvus is to special order WC fishes through LFS.
I spent years grooming those buggers

Perhaps my tank base is very dark. Thought smaller width is easier to maintain and clearer view of fishes? You only feed them with Nls?
My 6 footer tank is now emptied.

Hi Tony,

Width wise, of course smaller is easier to maintain, but I like my sandshifters to have the widest possible sand bed to play in

Main staple is NLS, with the occasional frozen brine & mysis shrimps as treats.

Time to source for material for your 6 footer
So who will be the lucky inhabitants ?
