Default Inactive Male guppy

Hi all, just want to know if there's anyway to pump up a male guppy to mate? I have a male guppy that is rather inactive and just rests at the bottom of the tank. Really very disappointing..

any rough idea how old is it ? when older , will less active. Goes to all fishes imo. Young more energy . Old lesser energy less active. Whats ur water parameter like ? What other fishes are in the tank ?

Water parameters can be the main culprit. Secondly, you may want to induce more live food in the fish diet rather than just pure dried pellets or flakes as food. Thirdly, Lighting can a problem too. It can stress the fish too if the light is overly strong.
