I realize this is an old thread, but the cray shown in the photo is a Cherax sp Hoa Creek. "Pink Coral" is typically a trade named used for the Indo Rainbow.

Don't really need a chiller... It depends on the size of the tank... You just need a fan that you can get in most local fish shops...

pH would be best at 7.5 - 8.5

Sorry, but I can't see any pictures, but looking at your description, most likely it's a Hoa Creek... A Hoa Creek (Cherax) has different shades of pink, with blue claws... I tried to breed them, but my female passed away peacefully... I currently have 3 males with different shades of pink... It's not easy to get a nice pink, unless selective breeding is done...

It's not wasy to get one in Singapore... It's only sometime in July that the stock comes to C328... However, there seems to be some problems with the recent shipping of "Cheraxes", as informed by suppliers... Some import problems with AVA, I think...

If you want a link, maybe you can go to this website which helps identify many Cheraxes from Indonesia, as well the difference in Hoa Creek and Rainbow...

We can't... I've checked with AVA... Generally, AVA do not recommend the imports of Cheraxes...
