this is a tanganyikan cichlid spawning thread. naturally when you ask people assume you are keeping tanganyikan cichlids.
different fish spawn differently, different age, different size.

Hi Yusrin,

Welcome to the hobby, i started 4 months also, still noob, hehe.

Anyway yours are all mbuna, try do more research online with key words like African Cichlids, Malawi Cichlids or Tanganyika Cichilds. Your is basically cichlids from lake malawi, africa. This thread is meant for tangan one, you may start a new thread for your future enquires. For your question usually when normal size cichlids they will start spawn at around 4 inches, or even 3, if you have dwarf cichlids like demasoni, they will start from even less than 2 inches. haha enjoy the hobby and feel free to ask questions like me, who cares if its stupid one. haha that's the way to learn, don't learn from the hard way.

This is zebra cobalt, actually i also not very sure, but sometimes due to bad breeding or hydrid their original colour may lost, sometimes male and female bears different colours as well, hard to say.
