M1 500Mbps with 3rd Party Router

Would like to check anyone on M1 Fibre and using your own router instead of from M1. My Sis router given by M1 is Asus RT-N56U. Any router with AC 1200 and above can support on M1 Fibre.

Can, i also sold off my new ASUS RT-AC1200G+ also from M1 strange why model different.

ST worst, give aztech 7000, 7002, 7003 (500Mbps) now is AC PLus, AC Lite (1Gbps). All these not very good as online forums complaining.
