Water drips from air cond condenser
My neighbour downstairs complaints that the water from my condenser drips onto his. I spoke with my installer (less than 1 yr old air cond system) and he told me that it is normal and nothing he can do about it.
Google and found this - It is normal for water to drip from the condenser as condensation takes places when the warm air surrounds the piping condensate. Do you face the same problem? I know it is a no no to install tray below due to mosquito breeding issue. Pls share. |

From my exp also nothing can be done unless there is a drip tray the FCU is in the carpark dripping onto cars back then at my workplace. When those jokers complain about it I will tell them off nobody ask you to park under my FCU condenser right if car not waterproof why drive outside keep at home.

The possible problem is "tok tok tok" when you sleep.
If it's due to noise, it is understandable. Either find a way to divert the drips away or, give them a mat to place on top of their condenser. This can soften the dripping sound. |
