my armatus ard 9"+ likes BIG goldfish (1.5-2") compared to smaller/baby gf.
if pour small n big ones together, it sure aims the BIG ones first |

I'm in the midst of mp train my 3 armatus. 8-9". It's nearly 2weeks now but still no luck. Tankmates are PBs, Gatf & 3 bar it. After the 1st week of starving... Only the Gatf & 3 bar took mp already but not the armatus. PBs are on mp all along.
Feel like giving up already. |

hang in there, the concensus i have is that you probably need 4-6weeks. i am gonna start my little ones on mp training soon, not sure if i can tahan 4-6weeks too.

It will be easier to train while they are young. May need to starve longer for older pieces.

Our friends overseas(US) seem to be having problems getting their Armatus above 18 inches. All these were fed dead foods. I wonder how those in Singapore will do on dead foods.

Feeding them feeders or dead food, will it affect their growth?
