Default Any central american/south american cichlids owner?

Hi guys..Dunno this thread being start before not.. Would like to see locally any guys keep those bigger monster cichlids as compare to those normal ones at lfs?


Hope to see some pics and video

A few of us keep a variety of CAs and SAs.

For me, I have the following collection:
- breeding pair of F1 gorillus blue umbee
- gorillus black umbee pair
- bonded pair of F0 rio mag blue umbee
- bonded pair of F1 blue umbees
- bonded pair of ultimate blue umbees
- breeding pair of red tiger motaguense
- bonded pair of white/silver saum andinoacara rivulatus (green terror)
- 2 x male white/silver saum andinoacara rivulatus (green terror)
- 1 x female v. regani
- 1 x bonded pair of jack Dempsey
- 1 x breeding pair of v. melanurus
- 1 x male gold saum andinoacara rivulatus (green terror)

Yes. Admittedly, there are more blue dempseys available these days too.
the jds locally, I feel, are that fantastic in terms of quality.

Keeping some african cichlids and umbee cichlids as of now..trying find way to get approval from CO for another 3 ft tank..
