So far we have only met those teams that are struggling at the bottom half of the table and in Oct with Liverpool and Spurs as our opponents we can lay down the the marker by beating these top 6 teams.

Impressed with Man City over the weekend.
They played 3 young forwards in Sane, Sterling and Jesus and run rings round the Chelsea defence So far City hv played Liverpool and Chelsea and win both games A lot will hinge on our games with them |

Our next test comes in the form of Liverpool, it will be a good game to prepare the team for the rest of the s3ason.
So far, we were fortunate that the back up team members played their parts well. The biggest impact of all with Fellaini hitting good form at age 29, his improvements actually started from late last season. The midfield and forward lines contributed their fair share of goals too. It will be more ideal if the rest of the defenders also start scoring too. Baily and Valencia already put on their scoring boots with a goal each this season. |

Clear strategy to beat Liverpool is to press high up, don't give their quick forwards any chance, and exploit their weak defense. Hope Mou knows the obvious.

Last season did not really employ the right tactics, giving Liverpool too much respect. He can forget about parking the bus, try score more goals than them.

Get in their faces once they have the ball, deny the key Liverpool forwards any space or time to make any runs. Play balls behind their back line for our forwards to run into as Klopp's style is a high pressing game so their back line will be high up the pitch. Generally, their players have not been able to sustain their high pressing game for the entire match. Target corners and free kicks into their box with our taller players.
