who still remember back in early 1990s, there was two SMRT trains collided with each other also?
Happened at Clementi MRT station during morning rush hour. I was in the 2nd moving train that collided with the stationery stalled train in Clementi MRT station. Was taking the train to go to German-Singapore Institute to do my project. That was more serious, the second train was still moving like 40 km/h before it suddenly hit the other train backside. |

Contrasting reports appeared.
It was reported not an accident. a live train went to rescue the malfunction train by pushing it. However the live train connected the malfunction train with too much force and the sudden jerk causes the passenger to loose footing and injured. BUT CNA said a bit differently "the train behind suddenly move forward and hit the stationary train. CNA stirring shit. hahahahaha However I am thinking are they doing the right thing? Simi SOP lai eh? use another train to push from behind? don't they have vehicle a tow truck like type or recovery vehicle, i am not sure what is it called. Donkey years ago, during safety training, the trainer said must ensure the worker use the right tool for the work required. |
