hmm..plant wont die lah.. but might start growing taller if your MH is placed too far away from the glosso.. try to strick a balance loh.. not too far from the glosso but still glosso will stay low.. the reason why i dun wan to keep glosso.. they are very light demanding... 2ft depth no MH even T5HO they also will start growing tall..
hmm 2ft depth. what will be a good plant to cover the landscape? i got arowana inside. tan the bugger and plants together..


no secret la . i put many many of horned snails. they kenna devoured before they can proliferate.

i would say HC would be a more suitable plant.. not so light demanding as glosso and yet wont grow tall without high light..

i have tried hc but fail...using t5 2 tubes lights doesnt seem to work

Could it be because of the ambient light that the tank is already at?

do you mean temperature? if yes, i think temperature plays a big role in HC.. HC does better in low temperature..

haha.. bro im afraid you have to wait till at least next monday to see some real updates liao.. my 4(or 5) packs of concept soil will come on sunday.. will go out and source more drift woods tomorrow.

I meant lighting, but now that you mentioned about temperature, maybe a chiller was introduced to the tank.
